No change in age eligibility for MHTCET this year.

Maharshtra government proposed maximum age limit of MHTCET as 25 years last year.As well as proposed that there should be ceiling on the number of attempts one can make for clearing MHTCET.both these conditions would not be applied this year as well. The planned date for MHT-CET would May 12.

Department of Technical Education (DTE) had some objections on the ceiling on number of attempts and age. Therefore, the eligibility conditions will remain same as last year.

The numbers of repeaters was also increasing with oldest candidate being 38 years of age and many aspirants in their 30s. It was observed that many students pursue graduation in other disciplines while continuing to attempt MHT-CET.

How can we expect a teenager to compete with a 30-year-old?
